LEVEL 101: (Recommended for a pure beginner)
How to properly select and handle the DJ equipment. Audio leads and signal flow, Parts identification, Ear Training, Evaluating Tempo differences, Applying the pitch control, Counting BPM (Beats Per Minute), Utilising BPM in a set. Breaking down the mix. Song selection. Applications in new technology. How to properly beat-match and create smooth transitions in between the songs.
* All sessions are One-on-One with instructor. * You will be required to bring your music on CDs or USB stick. Equipment is provided.
* 3 sessions at 100 minutes each within three weeks. Schedule to be arranged after you sign up.

LEVEL 102: (Some Experience):
Utilising the EQ, Smooth mixing/ Cut mixing. Mixing techniques and transitions.
Programming and energy levels. Loops and effects, Looping/ Beat Juggling. Intros and outros. Release points.
Mapping out the mix. Applying Eq’s and effects. Mixing with different genres & double time. How to pick the right music for your set. Short vs Long set (Energy levels). Putting it all together.

LEVEL 103: (Advanced): -The ultimate in dee-jaying (Putting it all together. )— Revision and Final Test. Arranging and composing a short set for your live performance. Identifying and programming to diverse crowds. Originality and developing your strengths. Students are required to complete a demo mix. Marketing and Promotion tips: Creating a unique style. Networking, Social media. Being selective with promoters.
